Deceased Name: Allan Jay Gurovitsch Allan Jay Gurovitsch, 48, Lawn Street, died Monday, Dec.
2, 1996. A lifelong Duluth resident, he was a 1966 graduate of
Duluth East High School and had attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
He was employed by Northern Electric Supply Co. until his retirement. He was
a member of Temple Israel Synagogue. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Esther
Tesler Gurovitsch. Survivors include his sister, Judith (Stuart) Passon of
Carmel, Ind.; his brother, James (Barbara) Gurovitsch of Golden Valley,
Minn.; and nieces and nephews, Jordana and Douglas Passon, and Julie,
Michael, and Molly Gurovitsch. Services: 11:30 a.m. today in Johnson Mortuary. Burial
will be in Tifereth Israel Cemetery in Rice Lake Township. Memorials to
Temple Israel or the donor's choice would be appreciated. Arrangements by
